Hometown Academy keeps children safe with personal door key fobs for every family, name-to-face attendance checks, camera monitoring throughout the building, ID checks for all visitors and pick-ups, and allergy-aware snack and mealtime practices.

  • Personalized security: each family gets an individual key fob, so only authorized people can enter.

  • Name-to-face attendance: taken at every change of location, so every child is accounted for at all times.

  • Cameras: a network of cameras provides continuous coverage.

  • Sign-in and ID: all visitors, therapists, service providers and alternate pick-ups show ID, and every child is signed in and out.

  • Trained, checked staff: background-checked educators trained in CPR and First Aid.

  • Allergy awareness: we are not nut-free, but we are very mindful of allergens. We review your child's Allergy Action Plan with you and offer alternative snacks for allergies and dietary needs.

Healthy food and active play

Morning and afternoon snacks are provided daily, with a monthly snack calendar. Families provide lunch, and every classroom has a refrigerator and microwave. A safe outdoor playground gives children daily exercise to fuel growth, health and energy.
