At Hometown Academy, the way your child learns evolves as they grow. Each program builds on the last, from sensory exploration as a baby to coding, engineering and kindergarten readiness as a Pre-K pioneer.

What ages does Hometown Academy care for?

Hometown Academy cares for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, including infants, toddlers, preschool, Pre-K, and school-age before and after care and summer camp.

STEM in every stage

From sensory tables to STEM stations, every child benefits from developmentally appropriate science, technology, engineering and math. Whether a toddler is stacking cups, a preschooler is coding a robot or a pre-kindergartener is testing bridge designs, each activity encourages exploration, experimentation and a lifelong love of learning.

Infants

 (6 weeks to 1 year)

Exploring the world through the senses. Cause-and-effect toys and sensory play lay the foundations of scientific thinking.

Toddlers

 (1 to 2 years)

Stacking, sorting and building. Teachers help children notice patterns, make predictions and test ideas.

Little Builders

 (2 to 3 years)

Asking questions, using simple tools and exploring natural materials. Counting, shapes and comparing sizes.

Preschool

 (3 to 4 years)

Hands-on experiments, beginner coding toys and collaborative building projects.

Pre-K

 (4 to 5 years)

Robotics, coding, engineering challenges, measuring and graphing.

School-Age

 (5 to 12 years)

STEM projects, creative arts and homework help before and after school.
